Since 1999 Al Will has ghost written and coached over 78 organizations that have received over $3,800,000 from the Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF) alone. Submission dates are March 1st , July 1st and November 1st annually. Al can help local organizations apply for grants from local catchment areas or assist Provincial organizations with Province-wide grants. National organizations can also apply which needs a strategic approach. Much success is also achieved through “Collaborative” applications.
Al has written grants for over 10 years to the Ministry of Health Promotion and has helped Ontario Sailing score in the top 5 sports out of 50 Provincial Sport Organizations.
Al Will & Associates can also assist to develop your annual fundraising plan , long-term fundraising strategy and train your staff and volunteers.
Grant Writing Coach
Foundations prefer that grant applications are written by the volunteers & staff involved in the organization. They are the people who will be contacted to answer follow-up questions. Al Will helps you find the right foundation(s) to apply to, help determine the appropriate ‘ask', and will edit the draft and coach you up to the final submission.

Al Will has written over 100 successful applications and raised over $3,800,000 in the past 7 years. Over $2M has been raised for sailing & yacht clubs. Al has acted as the grant writing coach to YMCA's, Breast Cancer Survivors, Georgian Bay Biosphere Reserve and many others organizations.
